My name is Brianna Baragar and I am the Speech-Language Pathologist behind Mountain Bay Speech Therapy. I graduated with my masters degree in speech language pathology from the University of Nevada, Reno and I am certified by the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association (ASHA). I currently hold licensure in the state of Arizona where I live and work for half of the year.

The Goal
The goal for this website is two fold:
1. Provide affordable therapy materials and organization tools for SLP staff
2. Provide normative data, and research for SLP staff, teachers, parents/guardians etc.

Mountain Bay Speech Therapy will have a small selection of SLP gear, mainly sold to keep this site up and running (website/domain costs, business license, etc.).

The Start of Mountain Bay Speech Therapy
After years of working in the Phoenix Arizona school districts with caseload numbers of 90+ students, I quickly learned to work smarter, not harder. I created organizational tools and attempted to provide quality speech and language therapy without spending a ton of time (and money) creating materials. Unfortunately, many times, I would inherit a new student on my caseload with speech or language goals that I don't typically write and would spend hours searching for specific therapy materials and/or resources for the student (a lot of which I had to pay for). My idea of being able to provide free materials, resources, etc. started here.
In the summer of 2021, I was extremely blessed to get the opportunity to travel with my husband for half the year for his job. This was the perfect time to make my idea a reality and fulfill my purpose as a speech language pathologist while I was traveling. This was the start of Mountain Bay Speech Therapy.
The NameÂ
Mountain: I was born and raised in Northern Nevada where there are more mountain ranges than any other state. In addition to this, I currently live in Phoenix, Arizona where one of my favorite hobbies is to hike the mountains!

Bay: The idea for Mountain Bay came to me while we were living in San Francisco for my husbands job. My ideas came to life on our apartment rooftop that over looked San Francisco Bay.
